Building on CJC’s heritage and established customer recognition, the cooperation will combine business recovery support with practical training, technology transfer and production improvements. It will address the shortage of specialised expertise available to the company and help build the capabilities needed for consistent quality and sustainable operations.
The planned training will cover garment design, digital pattern development, size grading, fabric selection, cutting, precision sewing, finishing and quality control. Particular attention will be given to the technical requirements of formal shirts, including collar and cuff construction, fit and production efficiency. The initiative also envisages collaboration with specialised international manufacturers and experts, including potential partners from Australia and Europe, to transfer knowledge to the Jordanian team.
Under the agreement, GFI will coordinate the development support programme, facilitate partnerships, oversee training and technical assistance, and monitor implementation and results. CJC will lead the company’s commercial operations, including production, recruitment, sales and customer relationships.
The relaunch will follow a phased approach, beginning with a technical and commercial assessment, product development and pilot production before expanding operations. Alongside employment opportunities, the initiative will support the development of local trainers and supervisors who can sustain skills transfer within the company.
GFI and CJC will also seek technical and funding partnerships to advance the initiative. The cooperation reflects GFI’s commitment to connecting enterprise development with practical skills, productive employment and wider economic opportunities in Jordan.
