The Global Federation of Investors is an independent, not-for-profit civil society organisation established in 2018 and based in South Australia.
We work at the intersection of enterprise and community development. Our purpose is to create an environment in which responsible investment and the private sector contribute to sustainable economic development.
Our work brings together economic empowerment, trade cooperation, support for small businesses, technology and skills, and social responsibility. We connect local priorities with international knowledge and networks.
With an Australian headquarters and a registered foreign branch in Jordan, GFI is building partnerships that support opportunities across borders. Our programme portfolio includes work in Tunisia, Iraq, Libya, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, alongside proposed initiatives in Jordan and Iraq.
Our approach places practical support, knowledge exchange and lasting local capacity at the centre of every initiative.
To strengthen the contribution of investment and private enterprise to inclusive, sustainable economic development.
We pursue this through business support, skills development, trade cooperation, research and dialogue, and partnerships that connect economic opportunity with community wellbeing.
Our vision is an economy in which people can build their capabilities, businesses can grow responsibly, and communities can share in the benefits of progress.
